What you can expect

Longevity in Figueira da Foz

Longevity at Revolution Fitness is functional training at a controlled intensity, designed for people who want to stay strong, mobile and independent for many years. It isn't adapted CrossFit: it's a class in its own right, with its own programming, in a group setting and always with a coach present.

Every class works on five things: joint mobility, strength in everyday patterns (lifting, pushing, pulling, squatting and carrying), balance and coordination, cardiovascular conditioning at an adapted intensity, and recovery. It's what makes the difference on the stairs, with the shopping and down on the garden floor.

It's not about your age, it's about your assessment. It all starts with a free 30-minute physical assessment, where the coach gets to know your starting point, your injury history and your goals. That's how we find the right class for you, which could be Longevity or another class at Revolution.

Whether your goal is to ease back, knee or shoulder pain, regain your balance, get back into training after a break or simply reach 80 still doing everything you love, Longevity gives you a structured plan, gradual progression and results you feel day to day.

WHY US

Why do Longevity at Revolution Fitness?

01

02

Training adapted to each person

Every exercise has the right version for you: load, range and pace adjusted to your body today. Everyone trains in the same class, each at their own intensity, with gradual, safe progression.

03

Professional-grade space and equipment

Over 1000 m², with more than 700 m² dedicated to training, 20 ergometers and direct access to outdoor running. Everything you need for a complete workout, no compromises.

04

Real community

People of all ages and levels who train together, motivate each other and celebrate every bit of progress. Nobody here compares loads: you compare yourself with who you were three months ago.

What is a Longevity class like at Revolution Fitness?

Every Longevity class at Revolution Fitness lasts 60 minutes and follows the same structure: mobility and activation, strength, controlled-intensity conditioning and cool-down. That consistency is what lets you progress safely, class after class, whatever your starting point.

01

Mobility and activation

Joint range and specific muscle activation prepare the joints and nervous system for what comes next. It reduces the risk of injury, improves range of motion and makes the rest of the class more productive.

02

Strength and technique

Lifting, pushing, pulling, squatting and carrying, with the right load for you and your technique watched by the coach. Posture, breathing and mechanics before any increase in weight. This is where you build the strength that protects your joints.

03

Conditioning at a controlled intensity

Cardiovascular and balance work at a pace you can sustain, with formats that change from class to class. Everyone does the same workout, each at their own scale, without racing the clock.

04

Cool-down

Recovery is part of training. Heart rate comes down slowly, you stretch what you worked, and you leave the class better than you came in, ready for the next session.

WHO IS IT FOR?

Longevity at Revolution Fitness is for you if...

Longevity isn't chosen by age. At Revolution Fitness some people train CrossFit after 60 and others choose Longevity long before that; it's the assessment that decides, not your date of birth. What brings people in these classes together is wanting to train at a controlled intensity, pain-free and for many years.

01

You've never trained

The coach starts with you from scratch, with no minimum fitness and no mandatory loads. All you need is the will to start.

02

Getting back to training after a break

An injury, an illness, one more year on the sofa. Longevity gives you back strength and range of motion with gradual progression, without asking you for the pace of someone who never stopped.

03

You have a limitation to respect

Knees, hips, shoulders, spine, or medical advice to train at a controlled intensity. The coach adapts every movement to what your body allows today.

04

You want to train for many years

Strength, balance and mobility are what keep you independent as you age. This is the class for people thinking twenty years ahead, not twenty days.

Frequently asked questions about Longevity

How do I get started with Longevity at Revolution Fitness?

+
With a free 30-minute physical assessment, one to one with a coach: health data, weight and measurements, mobility, strength and balance. It's your starting point, and it's how you'll see your progress. Book it at reception, with the coach in class or by message to 936 154 598. If you already train in Longevity, you're also entitled to it until 31 December 2026.

Is Longevity only for seniors?

+
No. Age never decides on its own. Some people reach 70 and go into CrossFit, and some reach 45 and prefer Longevity, because they like it, because of an injury or because they want controlled intensity. It's the assessment that tells you which class is right for you.

I've never been to a gym. Can I start?

+
You can. We have members who had never been inside a gym before walking through this door, some of them after 65. There is no minimum fitness level, no mandatory loads and no comparisons.

How long does a class last and what is it like?

+
60 minutes: mobility and activation, strength in everyday movement patterns, conditioning at a controlled intensity and a cool-down. Always with the coach in the room, adjusting every movement to every person.

When are the Longevity classes?

+
Monday to Thursday, at 10h30. There are four classes a week and you choose the two that suit you best. The full class schedule is on the timetable page, and anyone on the Unlimited plan can add other classes on the remaining days.

How much does Longevity cost?

+
We have several plans, and what changes between them is how many times a week you train and at what times. All of them include a coach in every class. No contract: you stay with us for as long as you're happy with what we offer. The day that changes, you're free to leave. You can see the plans and prices on the pricing page.

I have knee or back pain. Can I train?

+
In most cases, yes, and that's what Longevity is for: a lot of chronic pain comes from muscle weakness and a lack of mobility. The coach adapts every movement to what your body allows today. If you have medical advice, bring it to the physical assessment.

Does training help prevent falls?

+
Strength and balance work reduces the risk of falls and is one of the central goals of the programming. The first gains in stability are usually felt in the first few weeks.

What do I need to bring to my first class?

+
Comfortable clothes, trainers and a water bottle. All the equipment is at the gym, so you don't need to buy anything before you try.

Can I move from Longevity to another class?

+
Yes. The assessment is repeated over time, and some members start in Longevity and move to CrossFit or Functional Bodybuilding when they and the coach think it makes sense. The opposite happens too.
